Sylvie Kaye's Honky Tonk Man for a Honky Tonk Hearts Valentine Hop

Posted by Mackenzie Crowne at 10:04 PM

Ladies, I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking old Gus, owner of The Lonesome Steer honky tonk couldn’t have brought together all the lonely, broken hearts that he did. But I’m here to tell you I have. Not only do I have the pictures of these couples in my office to prove it, but there’s been a whole series of romances written about the men and women who found love at The Lonesome Steer. And just like every one of my couples, each of these romances is a keeper.

The authors of these books have put together a Valentine Honky Tonk Blog Hop, an easy way for you to get a sneak peak at every story. And there are prizes to put a bounce in your Texan Two-Step. To be Eligible, visit each blog link below and leave a comment. The more hop stops you visit and comment on, the more chances YOU have to win a $50 gift card to The Wild Rose Press. In addition, the publisher has provided a second grand prize of a $25 gift card to The Wild Rose Press and a TWRP Mug for a random commenter (Sorry, US visitors only for the mug prize). Some of the ladies will also be giving away their own personal prizes. So whatcha waitin’ for? Happy hoppin’!

Please help me welcome the fabulous Sylvie Kaye, author of HONKY TONK MAN, the first title in the Honky Tonk Hearts series. Take it away Sylvie.

I'd love to hear from you!
Excerpt from Honky Tonk Man:

He spied her. Blonde and sexy, just his type.

Here We Go Again.

The song title ran through his head as the blonde-haired beauty sashayed out from the kitchen,
a hamburger-and-fries basket in each hand. But despite her face and figure, there was nothing fancy or Saturday night line-dancing about this woman. From the tips of her weathered brown leather boots to her worn jeans and blue plaid cotton shirt, she appeared to be earthy and hardworking.

On a second thought, he changed the song to Maybe This Time.

She had a sassy ass and a cute wiggle. A couple said something, and she laughed, the sound so light and sweet his gut tickled. He sure hoped the sensation wasn’t a warning.

Be sure to visit all the stops on the hop for more chances to win... Enjoy

Love the title Honky Tonk Man. Really evokes an image to this southwest lady.

Thanks Brenda! The idea came to me from the title of the Rolling Stone song, Honky Tonk Woman." I figured, why not a man!

I know Calisa, so many books, so little time! And I'm a slow reader and writer.
